Words can't express how much this community has lost a wonderful asset in 'Nita as I called her. She became a dear friend through my first job at Brother's Pizzaria. I can still hear her say "Jeffrey, where's my fritter" or lemon bismarc. We used to harass each other in good fun and I gave her some tips on making glazed donuts and gave her a spare Donut cutter I had in return she shared her "Famous burrito sauce" recipe with me. I have kept my promise and haven't shared it! I will forever remember our dear 'Nita each and every time I make Burritos!! God Bless and can only imagine how much fun you are having with all your family.

I very much enjoyed working with Juanita at TJ's Pizza (the happening hangout, back in the day) when I was in my teens (mid 1980's). Her husband would bring in their young boys on occasion. Recent years I would get a chance for a quick hug and a hello when she attended her grandson Owen's ball games, friends with my youngest son Bradley, as I was watching my son play too. Juanita we all LOVE YOU and will miss you!

Our thoughts and prayers to out to Juanita's family. Nearly 20 years ago my family purchased the Lake Odessa McDonald's and Juanita was always one of my favorites.
She was the model for so many, teaching them team work, customer service and going above and beyond. Juanita truly cared for her team and her guests. I feel extremely fortunate to have known her and worked along side her. We love you!

What a wonderful lady she was. My most fond memories were working many times at T.J's Pizza with her. She always had a smile on her face and wasn't long before she brought one to your face as well! Nothing but GREAT memories of her! xxoo

Though we went to school together, it was during a summer job at GM in Lansing where Juanita and I got to know each other. Also, because of her, my lifelong craving for authentic food was cultivated. I will always remember her as a generous compassionate friend.
