Larry Richard Schray, age 75, of Hastings, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023. Larry was born on May 1, 1947 to Richard and Lucile (Reese) Schray in Hastings,MI. He proudly served his country in the Army during the Vietnam War from 67-69, continuing a long family tradition of serving our country. After returning from active duty he worked at the Lakewood Wastewater Authority and later retired from Lowell Engineering as a mirror painter. When he was able to he enjoyed fishing, Hunting and riding motorbikes as well as listening to the Beach Boys.
He will be missed by his siblings Sherry Clem, Jerry (Kelly) Schray, and two children along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
According to his wishes cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial with Military Honors at Lakeside Cemetery this spring.
