Maria M. Aleman

Marie M. Aleman, aged 70, of Lake Odessa, formerly of Alamo, TX, was called Home be with her Lord on Friday afternoon, May 29, 2009. Maria was born in Edinburg, TX on June 8, 1938 to Geronimo and Francisca (Acosta) Noyola. She was united in marriage to Lorenzo Aleman; he preceded her in death in 1983. Marie enjoyed cooking, and especially loved her family. She was an active member of the Living Gospel Church in Lake Odessa, and loved her church family. Maria is survived by her children, San Juanita (Noel) Gonzalez, Norma Abriz, Josefa (Heriberto) Sanchez, Javier (Bertha) Aleman, Mariana (Arturo) Robledo, Lucila Segura, and Lourdes (Andy) Cano; 23 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandson; and her brother, Jose (Francisca) Noyola. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lorenzo Aleman; son, Lorenzo Aleman, Jr.; and sister, Paula Herandez. Visitation and services will be held at the Memorial Funeral Home in San Juan, Texas. Local arrangements were made by the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa. The family has suggested that memorial contributions may be made to the Living Gospel Church (1600 Rochester Street, Lake Odessa, MI 48849).
