Marilyn A. Gaskill, 74, of Lake Odessa passed away peacefully at her home on May 23, 2021. Marilyn was born to Herman and Aletha ( Warren ) Fisher. July 19, 1961 she married Stanley W. Gaskill who preceded her in death on August 17, 2018. She retired from Twin City Foods in Lake Odessa after many years. Marilyn enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Cooking for the family gatherings, canning. She was famously known for her peanut butter and chocolate fudge that can't be replaced.
Marilyn will be missed by her children; Laurie Stuart of Lake Odessa, Bill (Rachel) Gaskill of Ionia, Lyinda (Matt) Fox of Ionia, 10 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren with another on the way, brother Robert (Nancy) Fisher of Gowen beloved uncles Richard and William Warren along with their families. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
The family would like to give special thanks to Marilyn's nurse Michelle, aids Amy and Elenor, along with the rest of the staff at Elara Caring Hospice, who gave comfort to her in her final days.
Preceded in death by; husband Stanley, parents and brother Fred Fisher.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 28, 2021 at 12noon at Koops Funeral Chapel with funeral services beginning at 1pm and burial to follow at Woodland Memorial Park in Woodland Township where she will be laid to rest next to Stanley. Memorials are suggested to Elara Caring Hospice.
