Marlene Mary Kruger

Marlene Mary Kruger, aged 64, of Lake Odessa, passed away peacefully on Monday afternoon, March 8, 2010, and is at Home with her Lord. She was born in Lake Odessa on May 2, 1945 to Art and Mabel (Chupp) VandeCar. Marlene was a graduate of Lake Odessa High School. For the past fifteen years she had been employed at Magna-Donnelly. Marlene is survived by her daughter, Debbie Calderon; grandchildren, Megan and Eric V. Bartlett, Drew Daniels and Stephanie Reid, and Alicia Salinas; great grandchildren, Britany, Hunter, Eric, Duane, and Keith Bartlett; sister-in-law, Alice (Ken) Forshey-Luscher; three special nephews, Brett, David, and Daniel VandeCar; great nieces, Shelbie Jo and Courtnie; and great nephew, Cole. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her older brother, David VandeCar. A memorial gathering and luncheon will be held at Cunningham's Acre in Lake Odessa from 1-3 PM on Sunday, March 14, 2010. A special time to share memories will begin at 2:00 PM.
