Very Sorry to hear of this, Mike was a great colleague that I had the privilege to work with since Chelsea Community Hospital. Always eager to help and great to talk to. Deepest sympathies to the family.

My deepest condolences to Jetta, Molly, Kathryn, Emily, and the  families of Mike. In the times I was able to be around the Ferguson family, what stood out most was Mike's  pursuit of knowledge, his fondness for engaging conversation, and the way he treasured his family. As a family, you’ve always impressed me with your creativity, kindness, sense of fun, and openness to experimenting and trying new idea. The same spirit that Mike carried with him. I am so very sorry for your loss, and I pray for healing in these unimaginable times.

My deepest condolences to Jetta, Molly, Kathryn, Emily, and all of Mike's family.  The one thing I know about him for sure in the time I spent with him is how much he loved his family.  He spoke of his family often with the utmost love and respect. 

His legacy at Trinity will carry on, as he created so many significant automations and enhancements throughout his career.  He was always more than willing to share his knowledge with others and loved collaborating to come up with solutions for problems.   

He always had a passion for learning and improving things and he made everyone better.  I learned a lot from Mike, and I would like to think he learned some things from me as well, and I only say that because of how open he was to learning.  It was always such a pleasure talking with him trying to solve problems, his passion for learning always made him open to new ideas.   

I would be remiss not to mention that Mike was an absolute PowerShell guru and genuinely passionate about it.  Any code he found he was instantly converting it to PowerShell, and always creating new things using it.  I know that Mike had other passions outside of work, but PowerShell was really how I got to know him.  We spent a lot of time discussing code and how to accomplish things more efficiently. 

I'm thankful for the time I did get to spend with Mike, he was a really great friend.  As a friend, colleague, and technical expert, Mike will always be remembered for the tremendous impact he made on Trinity Health.

Mike and I worked together at Trinity Health. He always had something to teach and was always interested in learning. We did not get a chance to catch up often after we left the NextGen team, but when we did it was always a pleasure. He will be deeply missed. I will keep him and his whole family in my heart and thoughts.

The Ferguson Family always showed out for the 4th.

Mike was a great friend to me.  One of those rare lifelong friendships.  We could chat for hours on various subjects, but especially around the subjects of science, technology, philosophy, and cars.  I remember our journey up to the St Ignace car show, where you warned me not to eat that sandwich, but I did so anyway… as well do I remember when you were showing me some of your latest programming projects at the time, and Jetta appeared from the darkness behind us and scared the living bejesus out of both of us;  I still owe you for that, Jetta.  I was fortunate enough to spend time with his family, from young ages with his grandparents, parents and sister, to later in life after he and Jetta had met and established a family.  I cherish that time for giving me the fondest of memories.  I am going to profoundly miss you, my friend.  May your journeys ahead give you comfort.

I have so many fond memories of Mike and Jetta living two doors down (from me) in their first home in Lansing. Being young and married in a starter home was so much fun with the Fergusons near by.   It felt a little like the an old sitcom with how our whole street would hang out.   We had great times on Teel Ave. It was wonderful to watch you guys start your family. I love you both, and so did Chris. I am so very sorry for your loss. My prayers are with you.   Love, Kerry
