Micheal Allen Behler

Micheal A. Behler, 77, of Lake Odessa passed on June 2, 2021 at the Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center in the Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus. Mike was born on August 9, 1943 in Conway, Arkansas to Gerald and Virginia (Frizzell) Behler. Mike proudly served his country for 20+yrs, starting in the Army for 6 active duty years and finishing in the Michigan National Guard. On September 14, 1991 he married Deborah and she survives. He will be dearly missed by; wife Deborah, daughter Jessica, step children Jackie (Jeff) and Scott, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchild, sister Quenda, 1 niece and nephew. Preceding Mike in death are; his parents and Aunt Arlene and Uncle Ish Hatch. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 11am until time of service at 1pm at the Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa. Burial with military honors will take place immediately following at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa. Memorial contributions are suggested to the VFW Jackson Mutschler Post 4461 in Lake Odessa. Fond memories of growing up in Lake Odessa and get-togethers with Mike's parents, grandparents. and he and Quenda. He was my second cousin on the Montague side.
My thoughts are with his family at this time. Mike was a good person and will be missed.
