Monte "Bones" Logan

Monte was born May 24, 1961, to Bobby and Betty Logan. He spent his early years growing up on Lake Jordan before the family later moved to the farmhouse on Jordan Lake Rd.

While Monte started out working on the farm, his career took him many places. Most recently, retired from the Operators Union 324. Monte truly enjoyed his work and gained several friends throughout his career.

When he wasn't working, Monte loved anything that went fast. He was always getting the latest toys and looking for ways to make everything just a little bit faster. Everyone that knew him, knew his love for snowmobiles. Affectionately known as, Papa Snowmobile, to his grandchildren.

Monte is survived by his children Kristopher Logan and Danyel (Nathan) Barnett, special friend Theresa McCaul, sister Marcia Bytwerk, grandchildren, Lathan, Christian, Brayland, Weston, Mykenzie, Johnathan, Natalie, Onalee and Korbyn and several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bobby and Betty Logan, nephew Tony Logan, brother "Toad" Logan and several close friends.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, September 5, 2026, starting at 3pm. 4301 N Charlton Park Rd, Hastings, MI
