Phillip Thomas La Roche

Phillip graduated from Grand Ledge High School in 1974. His passion for horses led him to become a farrier. He also worked as a truck driver and was employed by General Motors. For many years, Phillip worked for HSV, hauling concrete and gravel.

Phillip is survived by his beloved wife, Deborah Ann Morrison, whom he married on September 22, 1978. He leaves behind his children, Jason (Kesha) La Roche, Jarrod La Roche, Jordan (Kaley) La Roche, and Nick (Corinna) La Roche. He was a proud grandfather to Madisyn La Roche, Gage La Roche, Dominik La Roche, Deakon La Roche, and Daxton La Roche. Phillip is also survived by his sister, Christine Mitchell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louis and Barbara (Billings) La Roche.

In his younger years, Phillip enjoyed hunting, fishing, and camping until Parkinson's disease forced him to slow down.

A celebration of Phillip's life is being planned for January 10, 2026 at 11am at the Kilpatrick UB Church, 1005 E Barnum Road, Woodland MI 48897.
