Randall J. Hewitt

Randall (Randy) Hewitt, age 67, of Lake Odessa, MI passed away on Friday, August 1, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids. Randy was born March 5, 1947 in Illinois to Russell and Juanita (Hall) Hewitt. Randy was 1965 graduate of Lakewood High School where he was a star Basketball player scoring 43 points in one game. After High School Randy attend MSU earning a bachelor's degree in advertising. In 1967 he married Rosemary Meyer. Randy worked for the State of Michigan as an employment councilor for 25 years and was a talented pianist. For a short time had a show on PBS called the Job Show. He enjoyed fishing, reading and spending time with his grandson. Randy leaves behind : wife Rosemary, daughter Tonya, grandson Mason, brother Larry Hewitt and his wife Madeline, nieces and nephews. Preceding Randy in death are his parents. According to his wishes cremation has taken place and no services are scheduled at this time. Interment will take place at the Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa, MI.
