

Robert’s life was marked by steadfast devotion—to his family, to his faith, and to the principles that guided him. A beloved presence to those who knew him, he carried himself with quiet constancy and a faithful spirit that shaped the way he lived and served.
He found deep purpose in raising his children and supporting their many activities, offering the steady encouragement and dependable love that family life so often calls for. His faith remained central throughout his life, reflected in his commitment to reading the Bible and living with enduring conviction.
Robert also enjoyed staying active, and he took pleasure in playing tennis, ping pong, and basketball—simple pursuits that spoke to his energy and appreciation for time well spent.
His dedication extended into the community through meaningful service and involvement, including St. Ed’s finance committee, the Knights of Columbus, and support of Eagle Scouts. He volunteered with Hospice for five years, offering care and presence to others in difficult seasons, and he was a supporter of Right to Life of Michigan.
Robert is survived by his wife, Carol ; his children, Bryan (Carol) Rasche, Doug (Rebecca) Rasche, Jeff (Sheri) Rasche, Greg (Annette) Rasche, and Jon (Tara) Rasche; 16 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and his sister, Dorothy Rasche. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Jennifer Marie Menefee.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, June 5th, 2026 at 11am at St. Edwards Catholic Church, with visitation taking place one hour prior to Mass at St. Edwards. Burial will take place at Lakeside Cemetery in Lake Odessa, MI.
