Roseanna Maria Eldridge

Roseanna Maria Eldridge, 45, of Lake Odessa, passed away Friday, March 23, 2012. She was born January 22, 1967 in Lansing, the daughter of Joe and Connie Vela. Roseanna graduated from Eastern High School in Lansing in 1986 and was married to Rodger Eldridge on September 12, 1986. Roseanna was employed at Meijer's in Ionia. She was a devoted wife of 25 years and loving mother of four who battled kidney disease for many years. Roseanna was private, family oriented and loved quiet family time along with traveling to new places like the Grand Canyon, which was her favorite place. Surviving is her husband, Rodger Eldridge; daughters, Ashley (Josh) Thompson, Rachel Eldridge, Emily Eldridge, Olivia Eldridge; grandchildren, Jonathon and Allison Thompson, Isabella Kirchen; mother, Connie Vela; father Joe (Pat) Vela; brothers, Mark Vela and Joey Vela; half-sister, Trisha Vela; step brothers, Jebb Tackett and Jamie Tackett; father and mother-in-law, John and Suzy Eldridge; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Visitation with the family will be held from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Monday at Koops Funeral Chapel – Lake Odessa. Funeral Services for Roseanna will be conducted at 11 am on Tuesday at Koops Funeral Chapel – Lake Odessa with Pastor Mark Lipscomb, officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeside Cemetery, Lake Odessa.
