Tammy Carlena Keelan-Isaacs, known affectionately to all as Tami, embraced the world with laughter and love from the moment she arrived in Madison Heights, MI, on the first day of 1970. Her journey filled with melody, mirth, and an endless capacity for adventure, came to a close on December 5, 2023 due to a car accident. Tami's life was a vibrant tapestry that reflected the very essence of her spirit; intelligent, adventurous, and loving.
Tami's family roots branched out with the kind of complexity that she often joked could give soap operas a run for their money. Her parents, Kenneth E. Keelan and Linda Socca, navigated the world of co-parenting after divorce, with Kenneth finding love again alongside of Barbara. Tami's own legacy continued with her beloved son, Joshua Paul Keelan, who gave her the joy of being a grandmother to little Liam. Her sister, Tanya Marie (Jason) Keelan Eelode, and nephew Chance Dylan Pollert added to the close-knit family circle, as did her brothers, Charles J. (Brenda) VanEpps, father to Raymond and Austin (the later sharing his life with Heather and their sons Tobias and Owen), and Kenny E (Rachel) Keelan Jr., whos daughter Ryleigh was another of Tami's cherished nieces, Uncle Michael Keelan and cousins Damien and Donavon Keelan.
Tami's pursuit of knowledge and her flair for aesthetics led her to earn a college degree in interior design, where her creativity knew no bounds. While she had a diverse array of jobs throughout her life, each one was infused with her unique brand of humor and warmth. Her colleagues often found themselves not just working but laughing alongside Tami.
A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
