Velma Schrock

Velma Schrock, 83, of Clarksville went to be with her Lord on March 27, 2020 at her home.  She was born on June 19, 1936 in Au Gres, MI to Daniel and Alma (Handrich) Gingerich.  On December 27th, 1954 Velma married T. Edward Schrock and together they spent 65 years raising children and farming.  Velma was a tremendous woman and loved working with children. Holding many crafting sessions as a way to bring children into the church.  She was a wonderful mother instilling a sense of hard work in all of her children, but also making sure they had time for fun.  Ed and Velma spent their later years traveling Michigan in their Cessna 150.

She will be dearly missed by: husband Ed, children; Linford (Debbie), Linda (Jim) Koetsier, Lamar (Teri), Lauise (Bud) Stahl and Ladean (Cathy), 15 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren, siblings Erma (Glenn) Maust and Fred (Sandra) Gingerich along with many nieces and nephews.

Preceding Velma in death are: her parents, an infant sister Catherine V., grandson Kyle, sister in law Wilma Gingerich.

A private burial will take place in Bowne Mennonite Cemetery with a Memorial to take place at a later date for the public.
