Alberto Rojas was born on March 11, 1968 to father Guadalupe Rojas and mother Paula Gonzalez. Alberto had seven older siblings as well as one younger sister. They lived in a ranch style house. He was raised by his parents and also his beloved uncle Tanilo Gonzalez. He had a normal childhood. While growing up, he was taught by his uncles how to work with heavy machinery like tractors. He learned to harvest corn, beans, and other types of agriculture. During that time, he began enjoying going out to parties and hanging out with his friends.
In September of 1986, he would meet his “soon to be wife”. That same year, his beloved mother Paula passed away.
In 1988 he married the love of his life Juana Torres. After marriage he began working in the United States of America. For two years, Alberto had to travel between Mexico and the United States in accordance to labor laws. In 1990 they had their first daughter, Paula Rojas and moved to Florida to begin a new life. He started to work for an agriculture company called Mecca Farms. He was employed by Mecca Farms for approximately 13 years. He operated tractors and prepared their property for the crops. In 1994 they had their second daughter, Jasmine Rojas. In 2000 they had their last child looking for a son but were very fortunate they had their third daughter, Melani Rojas. In 2003 he started a new job for a company named Weitz. He was employed there for 15 years doing what he loved most, operating heavy machinery.
In 2008 they sold their home in Texas and bought a new home in Greenacres.
The following year in 2009, he lost his father on July 14th. On February 29, 2012 he officially became a “grandpa” of his first grandchild, Yariel Adriano Rojas from his first daughter. That’s same year in August he was able to give his first daughter away in marriage. In July 2013 he was able to see his second daughter get married.
In December of 2013 Alberto Rojas renewed his vows of 25 years of marriage with Juana. That day Alberto told the priest, “I come with all the will to get your blessing. The first time I did it to give my father-in-law what he wanted, now I’m here willingly to get your blessing.”
On November 11, 2014 he got blessed with his second grandson Salvador Rosales from his second daughter. Three years later on October 31, 2017 she blessed him with his first granddaughter Aurora Rosales.
In 2018 Juana and Alberto were happy to celebrate 30 years of marriage. In 2020 he got offered a better job with a company named Amici. Once again, he was doing what he loved- being able to operate heavy machinery. In April 2020 he got sick and our time wasn’t the same time God had planned for him. It was on Friday, June 5, 2020 that God decided he needed him on his side. Alberto was a wonderful man, caring father, loving grandfather and devoted husband who will be missed by many.
