Alice Margaret Lund

Alice Margaret Lund, 89, of Boynton Beach, passed away on June 7, 2014. She was born in Winnipeg, Canada in 1924. Alice and her husband John moved to the United States in 1953 to provide a better life for their children John and David. Alice had a love for everyone, including all creatures great and small, especially her cats, with a special love for children. Teaching children occupied a large portion of her life. She also enjoyed playing the piano while her husband John sang. She was a charter member of the First Baptist Church of Hypoluxo, which was started in 1954. She was also a member of the Eastern Star. She is predeceased by her beloved husband John, survived by her two sons John and David (Cindy) Lund, grandchildren Johan Lund, Maria Lund, Dorothy (Ronald) Wissler, Lucinda (Kevin) Frost, and Charles-Johan (Amber) Lund, and great grandchildren Meghan, Patrick, Victoria, Avery, and Anna; and numerous other relatives. A memorial service will be on Saturday, June 14, 2014, at the First Baptist Church of Hypoluxo, 7479 Overlook Rd. Lantana FL 33462, at 2:00 PM. Flowers are appreciated, or memorial contributions in her name can be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, www.hpbcf.org, Shriner's Children's Hospital, www.shrinerhospitalforchildren.org, the First Baptist Church of Hypoluxo Day Care Center, or the animal charity of your choice.
