Smurfette was one of the kindest sweetest man he was like a father to me ! He always made me laugh !! He was there when u needed him ❤️ He was so talented and giving 😘we will miss his smile !!! Love always Kerri 

Smurf, Eileen, Kristine and  Arty,  you were all a second family to me.  I think some weeks, I was at your house more than my own.  Smurf was always so much fun to be around, loved seeing whatever crazy outfits the girls were wearing, as we snuck out way past his bedtime. He was such a great man and will be missed by all who were lucky to know him.
I wish I could be there with you all to celebrate his life and say goodbye .  Sending my love, strength and prayers now and in the days to come.

Dear Monroe family,  I'm so sorry and sad to hear about Smurf!  He was the absolute best!  He was so good to me over the years and I have so so many memories! I Met Arthur about 8 years ago at our development’s community swimming pool. It was a beautiful day and  I commented how nice it was adding it’s too bad we had to go through hell to get to this paradise. We started chatting , from that day on we were steadfast friends, we talked about everything and saw eye to eye on all of it. We were like two peas in a pod.
 Recently I installed A pool table in my house and for Arthur’s last months we would play almost weekly.  As you may know Arthur’s sight wasn’t good but he managed to beat me more than once and pull off shots that even for a sighted player would be hard to believe. When he would look up his face Was lit up and had shed forty years. 
I will miss my dear friend greatly and will cherish the memories we made. 


Uncle Artie, we are going to miss you so much. Couldn’t we have one more cigar together? Couldn’t I hear just one more of your marvelous stories? Nobody had better stories than you, maybe it was just the way you told them. You were the kind of uncle that kids dream of having. You spent time with us, you let us jump on your back, you made us laugh, you didn’t judge us, and you would do anything for your family. My mother always said you were like a brother to her, not a brother-in-law. We will always cherish the time we had with you last year in Florida. We’ll pray for you in heaven.

Where do I begin? We had a strong bond between us.  Everyone knows how much I adore you. You mean so much to me. You were my rock. I could always depend on you for everything from good advice to a shoulder to cry on. You had the best stories and always made me laugh. You will live on forever through me and all of your family.
