Uncle Artie, we are going to miss you so much. Couldn’t we have one more cigar together? Couldn’t I hear just one more of your marvelous stories? Nobody had better stories than you, maybe it was just the way you told them. You were the kind of uncle that kids dream of having. You spent time with us, you let us jump on your back, you made us laugh, you didn’t judge us, and you would do anything for your family. My mother always said you were like a brother to her, not a brother-in-law. We will always cherish the time we had with you last year in Florida. We’ll pray for you in heaven.
Good bye Uncle Artie.

Arthur H. Monroe,
The H stands for Handsome. Pictures of you when you were young with Nana, Pops, Uncle Wally, Uncle John, and Aunty Mary.

Dear Daddy,
Where do I begin? We had a strong bond between us. Everyone knows how much I adore you. You mean so much to me. You were my rock. I could always depend on you for everything from good advice to a shoulder to cry on. You had the best stories and always made me laugh. You will live on forever through me and all of your family. You leave a legacy of respect, and love. A man couldn’t ask for much more. I just want you to know how much I love you and appreciate everything you’ve ever done for me. Before you know it we’ll all be reunited again. For now you will he missed. Love Always, Kristine
