Betty H. Jensen

Betty was born in Toronto, Ontario to Howard and Barbara Hibbert on March 19, 1923. She went to school in Detroit, Michigan. She retired, as a bookkeeper, from Rinker Materials. She was a member of Gold Coast and Sunshine Doll Clubs for many years. She loved gardening, and animals of all kinds.

Betty is preceded in death by her husband ML (Homer) Jensen, Paul Shore, daughter, Paula Shore, son, James Shore, grandson, James (Chip) Register, mother, Barbara and three sisters; Mary Ellen, Barbara, and Patricia.

Betty is survived by daughters; Barbara (James) Register, Kathryn (Phillip) Manczak, grandsons; Mark (Megan) Landers, Greg (Bessie Phillips) Landers, Mason (Michelle) Youell, and great-grandsons; Sebastin and Jackson Youell, plus many nieces, nephews and good friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the no kill animal shelter of your choice.
