

Bruno Manuel Duran, 93, of Palm Springs passed peacefully on Tuesday, February 11, 2025. He was the devoted husband of the late Marta R. (Diaz) Duran with whom he shared and cherished 47 years of marriage.
He was born on October 6, 1931 in Havana, Cuba, and was the son the late Serafin and Anunciación (Arias) Duran. He was the youngest of 6 boys and had a passion for baseball which started at an early age and continued throughout his life.
He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Havana. After his mother’s passing, he moved to the United States to join his brothers. He met Marta when they both worked at America Foods, Inc. They married in 1970 and in 2002 renewed their love and commitment for each other at St. Luke Catholic Church.
He spent the last 25 years of his career at Todhunter International (Cruzan Rum). He lived in Palm Beach County for the majority of his life. Bruno enjoyed traveling, watching sports, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by a daughter, Teresita "Tere" A. Duran, granddaughter Sophia A. Mayo, and many other beloved family members. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his brothers.
Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Friday, February 21st from 10 am to 12 pm with a Remembrance service at 1 pm at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth. Interment will follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
