Our Beloved Carl Joseph Chichester was born on August 16, 1958 to the late Valentine and Dorothy Chichester at Dantzic Mahaicony East Coast Demerara, Guyana. He was one of 12 children. He attended Stanleyville Government School. His career started at an early age of 14 with his dad as a Truck Driver. He continued throughout his adult years as an operator loader and concrete truck driver, which he loved and enjoyed.
January of 1991, he migrated to the British Virgin Island and worked as an Operator loader and a truck driver for 14 years at Tortola Concrete. 2005, he moved to Florida where he worked full-time at Hanover Homes in Port St-Lucie and later to Ranger construction as a Loader Operator until he retired.
Carl enjoyed going to church, spending time with family, watching wrestling, throwing a good net out for fishes and watching Chuck Norris movies. He stayed up many late nights watching Indian movies with his mom, dancing the night away and making his family and friends laugh until their tummy hurts. At home, he spent a significant amount of time tending to his various fruit trees and plants in his backyard.
Carl leaves behind to mourn his passing, his wife Lana Chichester that he has been together with for thirty-four years. It was love at first sight to the very end. That union brought together three daughters. Christine Chichester, Sherry Ann Bennett and Trisha Boyd. Six grandchildren, Katlyn, Alexia, Jake, Jaden, Isabella and Logan. Spouses of his Children; Jeffery, Patrick and Ramon. His sisters and brothers: Kathleen, Tyron, the late Michael, Dianne, Valentine, Camille, Yvonne, Carmelita, the late Caroline and Christopher, Alfred, Peter and Carol. Nieces and nephews as follows; Rhonda and others, Linda and others, Cindy and others, Brian and other, Valentine and others, Winston and others, Michelle and others, Benedict and one other, Nicholas and others, Rosemary and one other, and a host of extended family and friends. Carl will forever be loved and missed by all of us. We will always cherish every moment and know we will meet again one day. The void in our hearts will always be there, yet we know he is in a better place. Today we will be celebrating his going home. Fare well our love, until we meet again
