Carl "CJ" Richard Scheffler Jr.

Carl Scheffler Jr. passed away the morning of October 18, 2023, joining the Lord at the age of 25. Predeceased by his mother, Patrice Scheffler, aunt Lynn Fitzgerald-Adams, grandmother, Gwendolyn Scheffler, and grandfather Gerald Fitzgerald. He is survived by his father Carl Scheffler, and by his siblings, Mary Elizabeth, Annelise, Elena, Maximilian, and Conrad, as well as 10 cousins.

CJ was a wild child from the day he was brought into this world. He loved collecting new hobbies, and loved even more when he was good at them. CJ was a person with no fear, bravery to a fault. A person a mile away could sense when CJ was happy, it was contagious. CJ‘s laugh will still be heard for many years to come. He loved indulging in food, experiences and leisure, something he inherited from his mother.

Growing up CJ had at first three sisters, and when the day came that he heard of a soon to be brother, a whole celebration was had. His love was deep for his family, chosen family and friends. He will be greatly missed and remembered.

A visitation for Carl will be held Wednesday, October 25, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461, followed by a prayer service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
