Age 76, passed away peacefully at his home, August 24, 2025. Cliff was born October 2, 1948, in Lake Worth, Fl to Constance and Clifford Del Santo, Jr. A lifelong resident of Palm Beach County, Cliff attended and graduated from Lake Worth High School in 1967. Cliff was a pioneer in surfing in Palm Beach Co and was one of the first in Lake Worth, surfing for Southeast Surf Syndicate and Fox Surfboards. Cliff’s love for surf and photography gave him the opportunity to travel all over the continent with his camera and board. Cliff ended up following in his father’s footsteps becoming an electrician. He worked under his father, nicknamed ‘Del’, for many years at Del Santo Electric Inc, a well known company in the area. In 1993, Cliff went on his own, becoming a self-employed electrical contractor and starting his own business, Del Santo Electrical Service. Having played baseball up through high school, Cliff played softball in his spare time up until his 40’s. Cliff spent his off time from work coaching his sons in baseball and being a devoted band parent. Cliff closed his business and retired fully in 2018. Throughout his life playing ball, surfing and in business, Cliff made lifelong and close friendships, which he valued dearly. He spent his retirement relaxing and traveling the state, frequenting Florida’s Peace River, and Fish Eating Creek. Cliff loved to fish and hunt in his younger years, and was a true Native Floridian. He was a die-hard Florida Gator fan, a tradition started by his father, a Bull Gator booster, and passed down to his sons. He is survived by his two sons, Cliff ‘CJ’ (wife Hope, daughter Amelia), Cory (wife Anja), and his daughter, Gina. He is also survived by his two brothers, Thomas and Michael, and sister, Nancy. He was loved by his children and family very much, and will be missed by all those that knew him.
