Good bye to truly great human being,I'll miss your late night calls in which we shared and discussed the politics of Jamaica and the world at large. You had a very good memory and was always aware of the current political situations in the world. Rest well my brother and Comrade.

“We cannot, Lord, thy purpose see,
But all is well that is done by thee.”

My heartfelt condolences to the entire family and friends of the late Cloville Coombs, affectionately known as Dave.

Dave was truly an extraordinary person — jovial, loving, kind-hearted, and caring. When I learned of his illness while he was overseas in the hospital, I called him. If I had not known he was ill, it would have been hard to believe. Dave’s spirit remained strong, and his sense of humor never faded. He always had a joke to share and could tell you everything happening back home in Jamaica. He never sounded discouraged or sad.

Dave was a true friend to me, and indeed, a friend to everyone. He was the kind of person who never said no when someone asked for a favor. His generosity and warmth touched so many lives.

I could write an entire book about Dave, but time would not permit me to say all that is in my heart. May his sweet soul rest in eternal peace.

Hope to meet you again, Dave, on the other side of Jordan. You will be sadly missed and forever remain in my heart.

My condolences to you and your family Mrs. Coombs. Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family. May God grant you peace and comfort in your time of bereavement.

A light has dimmed, yet the echoes stay
Of a man like Dave, who chased clouds away.
With a quick-witted word and a twinkle in his eye,
He had a humor that money couldn’t buy.

Dave lived with a heart that was laughter-driven,
Sharing the joy in the years he was given.
A great man in stature, in spirit, and mind,
Leaving a trail of bright memories behind.

The room feels quiet without Dave's big voice,
But to have known his magic was our greatest choice.
May God rest his soul, in peace up above,
As the Morrison family carries his love.

Condolences to the family may his soul rest in peace.

May God Bless and comfort his family, throughout this sadness. RIP MY FRIEND I AM SADDENED BY YOUR PASSING.

Missing you

His personality was as tall as his height. He commanded attention wherever he went. He was humorously loud and full of qualms, and always had a comeback. He was well received by many, and he was dedicated to his profession. My prayers go out to his mother, his wife, children, siblings and his wider family and dear friends. 🙏
