I have such wonderful memories of working with Darlene at Doctor's Hospital.  She was a terrific nurse and a devoted Mother.  She always made me feel better just talking with her, and oh what a great laugh she had.  I am deeply saddened to hear of her passing and my sincere sympathy to her husband and children.  She has earned her place in heaven a thousand times over.

Bucks, Alice and David - So sorry for your loss.  Your mother was a great woman who guided me in the direction of medicine.  I will never forget her intelligence, strength and the laughs we shared.  Mt heart is broken, but I feel slightly better knowing she isn't suffering anymore.  Rest in peace, Darlene.

Aunt Darlene,

You were the best.  The memories of growing up as my Aunt then my friend.  You always had time for everyone and always made us feel better being around you.  You were so much fun, and NO ONE could tell a joke like you did.  You could tell the funniest joke and never crack a smile or miss a beat.  Your sense of humor (dry) was great.  Thank you for being there for me my Sr. year of High School when you stepped in for my mom because she couldn't be there.  It was an honor to introduce you to all my friends and know that you were there for me when I got ready for my Senior Prom.  I'll never forget it.  I'll always love you Dar, and I will really miss you!

There are so many lives Darlene touched in a positive way.  So many memories that bring a smile and show the wonderful person she was. So any stories about how she made a difference or made someone's day. So many hearts that are feeling sadness today. Because she was here-she was loved.  We shared a special closeness that can only come to friends who had remained true friends through so many seasons of their lives .now we have entered into a new season and I know I will still feel her near " "pulling on my ear". My favorite memory is seeing Aunt Deem and my mother Shari laughing like schoolgirls whenever they were together.  Darlene, you have laid up your treasures in heaven, great is your reward.
