

She was born and raised in Paterson, New Jersey. She had been a textile worker
in Paterson. During WWII, she was the first woman to be hired in Plant 7 in Lodi, NJ where she help to build the complete propeller shafts and radio shields for the B 29 engines. Della was a charter member as a medical assistant and
ambulance driver in Butler, N.J. She was a lifetime member, over 60 years, in the American Legion Post
Auxilary 47 and served there as chaplain for many years and felt honored to be so. She was also a member of the VFW Chapter 4360 of Palm Springs, Fl., and also a member of the Lake Worth Christian Reformed Church of Lake Worth. Her Pastor, Tom Dykstra, will preside over her funeral services on Monday, 10:00 AM, at the funeral home.
She will be entombed immediately following at Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
Della was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years in 1993. She is survived by her nephews
Robert and Richard Stoll of New Jersey; and several great nieces and nephews and a host of dear friends.
Her family will receive friends on Sunday, March 4, 2012 between 2:00 - 4:00 PM & 6:00 - 8:00 PM
at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers ,please make memorial donations to Lake Worth Christian Reformed
