Edouine had her primary education at “Chez les Soeurs Charité de Saint-Louis de Bourdon,” her secondary studies at the College Catt's Pressoir, and her university studies at the Hautes Etudes Commerciales et Economiques where she graduated with an accounting major. Edouine worked in several institutions in Haiti before coming to settle in Florida. She taught at the Collège Catt's Pressoir and then left teaching for a position of Administrative Secretary in an Art Gallery in Pétion-Ville. Immediately following her graduation from university, Edouine began her professional career at Sogebank and Unibank where she worked for several years. Edouine loved life. For her, partying is the simple law of nature. She had both the art of loving and the art of being loved. Edouine also had great plans for her life and her whole family. Her relationship with her brothers and sister was almost perfect. However, she shared an exceptional friendship with her mother whom she loved dearly and affectionately.
In August 2008, she married Lamarre Camillus. From this union were born two children, Aymar (7) and Anaella (4). Succumbed under the fate of the sufferings she courageously endured, Edouine breathed her last breath on Tuesday November the first, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital, West Palm Beach. Her departure leaves mourning her husband Lamarre Camillus, her two children Aymar and Anaella, her mother Evelyne D'Haiti Antoine, her brothers Evens, Kency, Wislin, her sister Sarai, as well as all other relatives and friends. Doudoune’s departure creates a void that only God’s presence can fill. Her memory will always remain in our hearts.
