These pictures are from 2013. I met Fareen at FAU. I believe we had a few classes together. I am so happy to have met Fareen. She was very kind, intuitive, intelligent, reflective, had the best sense of humor, and I admired her dedication so much. I am so sad to learn these news. I wish I had kept in contact with her. 
Out of the blue I had the urge to reach out to Fareen to try to reconnect and catch-up, only to find these tragic news. My heartfelt condolences to Fareen's family and friends.

You were a brilliant human and one of my favorite companions at any party or wedding, and I would jump with joy whenever I ran into you at FAU. Seriously, my demeanor would instantly light up as soon as I saw you because I knew I wouldn’t feel alone. I miss our long conversations about sitcoms, baby sloths, existentialism, memes, social justice and dumb shenanigans.  I think of you every day and I miss you so so so much 🫀. 

I pray that God holds your family in His loving arms to help you stay strong during this time of great tragedy and loss.  I find it hard to find words to express how sorry I am that you all are dealing with such devastation.
