Florence Harmon, age 84, of Greenacres, Fl, passed away September 2, 2018. She was born in Bronx, NY on February 22, 1934 to Robert and Marie Harmon. Prior to moving to Florida she was a lifelong New Yorker sharing her life and travelling the world with her partner Joan Catullo. She held various positions in her youth and then worked many years for Exxon Corporation culminating her career as an executive in their Global Medical department. Aunt Flossie, as she was known to her many nieces and nephews, was passionate about her family, her faith and her work. She will be remembered as a person that always had a smile on her face, an infectious laugh and offering words of encouragement and wisdom just when you needed it. She will be fondly remembered by her nephew Christopher DiMuzio (wife Elizabeth), niece Linda Gregg (husband Richard and son Sean), niece Renee Tucker, in-laws Angela and Pat Carroll and sister Ruth DiMuzio. A funeral mass will be celebrated in memory of Florence on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11:00am at St. Matthew Church, 6090 Hypoluxo Road, Lakeworth, FL. Interment will follow for Florence and Joan in the Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Cemetery. Memorial gifts in memory of Florence may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
