He is survived by his wife, Joyce M. Phillips; two daughters, Deborah (Daniel) Atkinson of St. Pete, FL, Susan (Daniel) Phillips Gray of WPB, FL; two grandsons, Daniel and Michael; sister, Norma Mann of WPB, FL; brother, Timothy (Robyn) Phillips of Bradford, PA; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Vivian Phillips; and brothers, Benjamin, Edward, and James.
Floyd was a carpenter for over 48 years in the Palm Beach area. He could read any blue print in front of him. He supervised and helped build many big projects in the South Florida area.
He enjoyed spending every holiday with family and friends.
Memorial gathering will be held on Friday, March 11, at 6PM, with a service starting at 7PM, at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Funeral Home.
