Fran was born and raised in the Chicago area by her parents Mary and Richard Basquez. She grew up with six brothers and sisters: Sonny, Benny, Valerie, Ronnie, Vince and Toni.
Fran was married to Robert Kasky for 43 years. They created a great life in Rensselaer, IN, where they raised their children. Fran was a homemaker and an assistant teacher at the middle school . She was very active in the Rensselaer community with the Psi Iota Xi sorority, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts, Bomber booster club, and St Augustine church. They also loved to travel, a few places they visited were Brazil, Italy, Switzerland, Mexico and all over the U.S. in their camper.
Fran is survived by her 5 children: Cherilyn (AZ), Laura (FL), Eva (WA) , Michael (IN) and Lori-Lynn (IL). She had 8 grandchildren .
Service will be held at Sunland funeral home in Sun City, AZ on February 25, 2017. In lieu of flowers please send a donation to the Huntington's Disease Association in her name.
