

George Gesuero, of Boynton Beach, left this world peacefully on April 27, 2026 at the age of 89. He was a devoted husband to Deanna, a loving father to Stefanie and Adam, and a proud grandfather to Sofia, Louisa, Luca and Bruno. He will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and for his steadfast dedication to his family and loved ones.
He lived a life defined by service, humility, and quiet strength. He proudly served his country as an airman in the United States Air Force. After his service, he attended classes at Yale in his hometown of New Haven, CT, and at the University of Oklahoma. He worked as an engineer at Norden Systems, later part of United Technologies, in Norwalk CT for 30 years, reflecting his tireless work ethic and commitment to the company and to his family.
A talented craftsman, George reveled in building and working with his hands. He crafted furniture, rebuilt cars, and handled any home repair that came his way. He was particularly at peace by the water, taking joy in fishing and boating. He loved sports and was a star athlete in basketball in his youth.
A generous soul, George donated regularly to charities that supported children and animals. He was also generous with his time, volunteering at his church and mentoring young students.
George will be remembered for modeling strength, resilience, and through the dignity found in hard work and selfless service. Through the lives he touched he will be remembered with warmth, fondness, and respect.
A Gathering of Family & Friends will be held at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461 33461, on April 30, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm. A Celebration of Life and burial service will occur at a later date in Monroe, CT.
