She then continued her lifelong service to the community as a docent at the Palm Beach Zoo. She developed a passion for golf and was a member of the Cypress Creek Country Club and treasurer of its Women’s Golf Association. She traveled to Greece, Turkey, the Caribbean and throughout the U.S. She will be dearly missed by her brother Fredric A. LeBeau (Janet K. LeBeau); longtime friend Sandy Jarvinen; nieces Eleanor E. LeBeau and Suzanne L. LeBeau (Jeffrey Nickerson); nephews Fredric A. LeBeau II (Wendy Beavis) and David A. LeBeau (Elizabeth LeBeau); great-nephew David LeBeau Jr.; and an extended family of friends that includes Diana Holland, Kevin Geuther and Jymm Russell, Gerry and Nancy Heikkila, Patty O’Connor, and Eija Connaway, as well as her many friends from the zoo and golf. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m. on April 6, 2014, which would have been her 75th birthday, at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith-Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to the Palm Beach Zoo, 1301 Summit Blvd., WPB, FL 33405.
