Ecclesiastes 7:1 says: “A good name is better than good oil, and the day of death is better than the day of birth.” She was a spiritual sister, a mother, a wife, a sister, and a friend. She has a good name in all those titles. Gislene St Preux was an example of the good. She died young but her memory will last forever in the people that knew her. Proverbs 31:28, 29 says: “Her children rise up and declare her happy, and her husband rise up and praises her. There are many capable women but you surpass them all.” Her children definitely will declare her happy and everyone else that had the pleasure to know her will say the same.
She has worked hard to help provide for her family and that work ethic has been passed down to her children. She worked hard for Jehovah God as well, as a matter of fact she was asking to go preaching on zoom while she was in the hospital. There is more that can be said about Gislene St Preux such as her laughter, her sarcasm, her cooking or specific memories that we may share but this one page of obituary will not do her justice. Instead let us celebrate her life, reminiscent of good times, mourn if you must, but hope that we will see her again in paradise.
