

Grady Walter Swann, age 70, a native to Lake Worth, FL, passed away peacefully in his home with his immediate family at his bedside on Saturday May 9, 2015 after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born on April 28, 1945 in Lake Worth, FL. He graduated from Lake Worth High in 1963 and received his B.S. in accounting from the University of Palm Beach. He began his career as the chief accountant for the city of West Palm Beach and retired from the city of Boynton Beach; as the finance director in 1996. He was an avid golfer and huge fan of the Atlanta Braves, Miami Dolphins, Florida Gators, and Miami Hurricanes. Grady is survived by his devoted and loving wife Glenda of 48 years, daughter Mary Ann Bradley and husband George, three beautiful cherished grandchildren Eerik Swann, Brittany Bradley (fiancé Ryan and Miller), Rhett Bradley, sister and brothers-in-law Terry and Robert Lynch, Ed and Edwina Booth. Mary and Chuck Fry, and numerous nieces and nephews. Grady is predeceased by his son Walter, mother Lula May, father Walter, brother Daniel, sister Betty, nephews Billy, Jack, nieces Jeanine, Tracy. The family would like to thank all the phenomenal nurses who provided Grady with exceptional care and compassion.
