James Harlan Jackson Jr., age 76, of West Palm Beach, Florida died peacefully in his home on Monday, June 24, 2019. James was born in Mineral Wells, Texas on December 31, 1942. He served in the U.S. Army for 9 years. He was a very loving, charismatic man and an amazing cook. He loved to cook.
He is survived by: wife, Damaris Jackson; children: Susie Bryant (husband, Harold Bryant Jr.), James Jackson III (wife, Janel Jackson), and Sherri Happaney; grandchildren, Nicholas Bryant, Garrett Jackson, Gavin Jackson, Gracie Jackson and Amanda Happaney; 2 sisters: Gina Nixon and Mary Ann Denton.
A Military Honors graveside service for James will be held Friday, June 28, 2019 from 2:15 PM to 2:30 PM at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33449. Guests attending the service must arrive at the cemetery in Lane #5 no later than 2:00pm.
