Jay and I go back many years. We were in the Marines together, and we had a friendship I will remember forever. Jay was there with me when I got into bind wiring my house back in 1968. Along comes this big ole teddy bear and says we can do this. Dang if we didn't do! It even passed inspection, not cause Jay knew the inspector but because it was a first class job! It was a pleasure to have known Jay and his memories will last a lifetime, and he will be standing at Heavens Gate when I get there. I'm going to give you a big hug my Dear Friend. Hey Dad, If you were able to read this, I would want you to know how much I love and miss you. I would tell you that I appreciate everything you did for me throughout the years. I would tell you that I regret not spending more time with you. I would tell you that you were truly a living example of a great man, one who wouldn't think twice about helping a stranger in need, one who always had time for me, even when I annoyed you or made you mad. When I began my apprenticeship as an electrician, " Big Jim" was the very first journeyman I worked with on my first job. He was quick to share his knowledge and a real pleasure to work with. Rest in peace, my old friend.
