Norma Jean Graham, lovingly known as “Meemaw,” was born in Holland, Arkansas, on July 23, 1932, to the late Cyril and Marie Clements. Meemaw passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 15, 2025, in her Lake Worth home where so many family memories were made.
Jean married Charles Glesol (“Grandad”) Graham, and together they shared 69 years of love, laughter, and partnership. She is survived by her husband, Charles; her children Michael (Connie) Graham, Judy (Paul) Woodard, and Lauri Norberg; her grandchildren Jason (Tracy) Graham, Jillian (Ryan) Gillespie, Josie (Kevin) Levine, Laurin Norberg, and the late Jenna Graham; and her great-grandchildren, Owen and Jordan Graham. Jean is survived by sister Sybil Craff ord, and brothers Donald Clements and Glynes Clements, all in Conway, Arkansas.
Meemaw’s unwavering love of family was her greatest gift, and she had a way of wrapping that love around you. To get a hug from Meemaw was to be wrapped in love - like she was hugging you with her heart. Stepping into her home, or simply into her presence, felt like turning off the outside world. She fi lled every space with warmth, laughter, and often a sweet treat - her famous Wacky cake, strawberry shortcake, banana pudding or cinnamon toast. Humor was always an undercurrent, punctuated by her unforgettable giggle that so often turned into everyone laughing along.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and stories that will echo through her family for generations. In true Meemaw spirit, the family asks that instead of mourning, you tell a good story, hug your people tight, and enjoy something sweet - because Meemaw certainly would.
