Joan Ann Calcagno

Joanie was preceded in death by her parents George and Olga Kosty, and her beloved yorkie Fendi.

She is survived by her sister Patti who lost her best friend and disciplinarian. Also surviving is her very special family, whom she dearly loved, Dr. Philip L Calcagno who was her mentor and guardian angel, Alex and Carla Calcagno and their spouses, longtime friends, Joan Moskowitz, Sharon Vanscoy as well as many

other close friends. She retired after 30 years of teaching at both Roosevelt Elementary and Palm Springs Elementary schools. She was a member of St. Mary Antiochial Church. Joanie loved life, her family, friends

and shopping. We will all miss her smile, quick wit, sharp tongue and beautiful blue eyes.

Her family will receive friends on Tuesday evening between 5:00 & 7:00 PM at the funeral home

where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 PM. She will be laid to rest immediately following

at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to
