José was born on February 29, 1952 in Palma Soriano, Cuba to Angel D. Beatón and Margot Beatón. He arrived in the United States on September 20, 1979 where he resided in Chicago through his 40s and then in various cities in Florida until his passing on February 24, 2025. José worked for many years as a general contractor and then had several business ventures over the last thirty years.
He is survived by his children Juan José Beatón, Yohans Beatón (predeceased 2024), Melina (Rogelio Gamez) Beatón, Angel Beatón; his grandchildren Jonathan Juan Beatón, Anthony Juan Beatón, Noah Beatón, Ivy Beatón, Zoe Beatón, Mia Beatón, Sebastian Beatón, Camino Yuli Gamez and Alma Lucia Gamez; his parents Angel D. Beatón and Margot Beatón; his brother Ricardo (Mercedes) Beatón; his nieces Selina (Joneicer) Fayola and Barbara (Eloy) Suarez; his partner Yodamis Rodriguez Cepero; and many loving uncles, aunts, and cousins.
A memorial visitation will be held on March 8th starting at 10:30am at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461, Celebration of Life Services will begin at 11am.
