It is with profound sadness that the family of Juan Gheridian announces his unexpected passing on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the age of 90. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 62 years, Odette Nartoohi, his children Ashot and Nanique, and his sister Beatriz. Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, he emigrated to Armenia in 1954 with his mother and five siblings, where he and Odette met and started their family. They moved to the United States in 1973, settling in Boston, Massachusetts where they lived until they retired to Boynton Beach, Florida in 2009. Juan was a Master Mason for more than 40 years and a proud member of the Knights of Vartan since 1984. He will be remembered for his kind, gentle spirit, love of life, and ability to make people laugh.
A visitation for Juan will be held Friday, December 27, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at St. David Armenian Church, 2300 Yamato Rd, Boca Raton, FL 33431, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM.
