Judith Anna Weaver Beard

She was born December 10, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois to Mary Klanke and was raised in Flora, Illinois. In 1958, she was married to Robert Lawrence WIlliams. They had four children, Gerry Lynn, DeeAnna Marie, Rodney Lawrence and Lana Christine.

In 1961, they moved to West Palm Beach, Florida. She remarried in March 1982, to Gene Weaver. He passed away unexpectedly in 1993. After her retirement from the Palm Beach County School Board, she became a caregiver for her mother, Mary Klanke Williams and step father, Harold Williams. Her step father preceded her in death, in 2005 and her mother, in 2009. In October 2011, she married Larry Beard. He passed away in 2017.

She moved to Gainesville, Florida in October 2018. In 2022, after being diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 2020, she became a full time resident at Magnolia Ridge Health and Rehabilitation Center in Gainesville, Florida. Judith spent her final days surrounded by family and friends at Haven Hospice in Gainesville, Florida. Judith was a devoted Christian, and was an active member at several Christian Churches and Churches of Christ. At her passing, she was a member of University City Church of Christ in Gainesville, Florida.

Judith was a loving and devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Wife, Daughter, Aunt and friend to so many. She is survived by her four children, 8 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 7 step children, 1 niece, 1 nephew, and numerous cousins.

A visitation for Judith will be held Friday, April 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM. A committal service will follow at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. A reception will immediately follow the graveside service.
