Age 58, of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away on February 23, 2013. She had been a resident of South Florida for over 30 years having moved from Highland, Indiana. Up until her passing, Karen worked for U Pull and Pay. She was active in the equestrian community and loved taking cruises. Survivors include her children, Gregory Keen and Carrie Keen; grandchildren, Hailee and Kaycee Keen; mother, Carolyn Vargo; brothers, Stephen (Patty) Vargo, John (Golda) Vargo, and Michael (Kathy) Vargo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Jeremy, who passed away February 10, 1991. Karen's family will receive their friends at the funeral home on Thursday, February 28 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Her funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, March 1 also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association .
