Kathryn Nadine Lee West

Kathryn Nadine (born Birdsong) Lee West passed away at 5:55 a.m. on November 29th, 2021, 2 months shy of her 99th birthday on January 29th, 2022. Born in 1923, she was the daughter of Elwood Patrick Birdsong and Verna Ella Perry. She was married to Robert E Lee Senior for 61 years and the late Jackie Eugene West for 10 years, marrying him on December 20, 2009. Her oldest daughter Verna Beth Jobson, predeceased her on May 9th, 2018. She was a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, wife, nurse, and a published poetry author among other titles. She is survived by her son, Robert E. Lee Jr., her daughter, Beverly K. Clements, 7 grandchildren-Wendy Sue Clemans, Dawn Marie Puchacz, Robert E Lee III, Rudolph Hans Denham, James Lee Jobson, Jason Lee Jobson, and Nicole Ann Clements, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She is just one of many descendants traced back over 18 generations by her son. She was loving, and very much loved by all that knew her and will be sadly missed. The viewing will be on December 8th, 2021, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Followed by a celebration of life service at Dorsey E Earl Smith Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth Beach, Florida 33461, with refreshments after another memorial service in the building where she lived at Lake Worth Towers, 1500 Lucerne Avenue, Lake Worth Beach, Florida, 33460, for her many beloved friends who lived there that would be unable to come to the funeral home.
