Larry Russell John, 51, of Boynton Beach, FL went home to be with Jesus on December 22, 2017. Larry was born on July 17, 1966 in Mishawaka, IN. He is survived by his loving wife Kaye Lin John of 25 years, daughter Leanna, his parents Rev. Joseph and Arlene John, brother Alan (Jennifer), sister Jolene Minor, six nieces, three nephews and one great-niece. Larry graduated from Penn High School in Indiana, received his bachelor's degree from Bethel College in Mishawaka, IN and his master's degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. He worked as a computer technician and taught computer science courses at Palm Beach State College, Palm Beach Atlantic University and Florida Career College and was presently working as a systems engineer at Joy Communications in Stuart, FL.
Larry enjoyed the outdoors, especially hiking and camping, caring for horses, including his own, Wendy and Betty, working with plants, traveling, and making money by recycling metals and running successful home businesses in computer repair and an Ebay plant business. He was very good at fixing things and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed him. He had a silly sense of humor that made everyone either laugh or roll their eyes. He was a faithful and loving son, husband and father, deeply devoted to God and to his family.
A memorial service to honor Larry's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday December 30, 2017 at Lake Worth First Church of the Nazarene, 1401 2nd Avenue North, Lake Worth, FL 33460. You are invited to visit with the family from 1:30 to 2:00 at the church if you would like to do this. A private graveside service for the family will be held Saturday morning.
