Lloyd George “Skunna Jays” Ruddock was born on September 2, 1943 in Kingston, Jamaica. His parents were Mr. Winston Ruddock and Mrs. Thelma Johnson. This union was blessed with ten (10) children. Lloyd was the 8th of the ten (10). He was preceded in death by: brother, Osbourne Ruddock; sisters, Viviene Ruddock and Patricia Ruddock. His living siblings are Rouel Hernandez (older brother), Leslie Ruddock, Margaret Ruddock, Diane Ruddock, and Doreen Ruddock.
Lloyd was educated in Kingston, Jamaica. He became a tailor by trade and a lead singer for the group called the Jays (in Jamaica) where he became known as “Skunna Jays”. He loves to sing, play his guitar and ride his bike.
Lloyd fathered ten (10) children his (4) sons are David Flemmings, Lloyd Johnson, Minnow Johnson and Bryant Johnson and his (6) daughters are Mildred (Baby girl) Johnson, Adrianne Johnson, Nacia Johnson, Maureen Ruddock, Tamara Ruddock and Temika Ruddock. Lloyd and Miriam (Mother of the children) have a total of ten (10) grandchildren. His memories will be cherished by a host of nieces, nephews, many friends and family members.
God has called him home to eternal rest.
