Loretta was born Gelsina Loretta DuBois in Sanford, Maine on August 14, 1930, where she met and married her husband, Forrest V. Hanson (deceased).
The couple was blessed with 5 children: David, Claudia, Rebecca, Mildred, and Forrest, of whom Forrest is the only surviving sibling.
Loretta held a deep faith in God and truly loved her family. She was very active in the First Church of the Nazarene in Lake Worth, Florida, a church that she and her husband helped to build many years ago, and contributed her musical talents on the piano and organ to the weekly church services. Loretta remained involved with her church, family and friends throughout her long life, and witnessed her faith in God’s promises each and every day.
A graveside service for Loretta will be held Friday, March 1, 2024 at 12:00 PM at Lake Worth Memory Gardens, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461.
