MANUEL VELASCO Age 62, of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away on November 28, 2010. Manuel worked for the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Department as a parking enforcement specialist up until the time of his passing. He was a two term honorably discharged veteran having served in the U.S. Army . Among his passions were racquet ball, fishing, and being at the ocean. He had been an employee of the Miami Seaquarium training killer whales, dolphins, and sea lions. Survivors include his wife of 38 1/2 years, Colleen Velasco; daughters, Yvette Velasco and Leslie (Matthew) Wise; grandchildren, Nicolas Velasco, Aleesia Wise, and Logan Wise; mother, Margarita Velasco; sister, Gloria Muller; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and numerous friends. The Velasco family will receive their friends at the funeral home on Thursday, December 2 from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 PM.
