It is with great sadness that the family of Maria Medina, of West Palm Beach, Florida announces her passing after a brief illness, on Monday, July 31, 2023, at the age of 93 years. Maria was born in Baracoa, Cuba.
Maria will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Teresa (Fidel), Maritza (Lazaro (Hubi). Maria will also be fondly remembered by her four grandchildren, Fidel Jr, Bianca, Patrick, and Leata (Nicholas) by her four great grandchildren Yessenia, Ethan, Ryan, and Enzo, and by her sisters and brothers. Maria will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Maria was predeceased by her husband Jose and her grandson Hubi Jr.
A visitation for Maria will be held Saturday, August 12, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road in Lake Worth. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 PM. Interment will follow in the Lake Worth Memory Gardens.
