Marshall moved his family to Florida in 1969. He worked as a tool and die maker for many years, and also was COO of Viking Anchor Products Inc. from 1972 untill 1979 when the company was sold.
He served in the Navy from 1946 untill 1948 aboard the USS Springfield CL66.
Marshall was predeceased by 2 sons, Thomas Hart, and Ronald Hart, and by all five of his siblings, Robert, Rodney, Margaret, Sidney, and David.
Marshall is survived by his wife of 73 years, Vivian Hart, and 2 children Sandra Frint and Michael Hart, 7 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
When he retired he enjoyed doing woodworking, building rocking chairs, lazy susans, making pens on his wood lathe, and countless other projects. He also helped design and build a large Christmas display (over 100,000 lights) still being used today.
He loved his family and would do anything for them, and he was loved very much. He was the very definition of a good man.
