Michelle D. Philcox, devoted wife of Roy W. Philcox, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 30th, 2020. She was the beloved daughter of the late Zita James and John Michael Delahunty of Ozone Park, New York. Michelle was the oldest of seven children, the late John M. Delahunty, (wife Catherine) the late Mary C. Puleo, (husband the late Joseph Puleo), Therese Panico (husband the late Dominic Panico) Francis X. Delahunty (wife the late Jean Delahunty), Kevin J. Delahunty (wife Beverly) and the late Paul J. Delahunty. Her greatest joy in life, after her relationship with Jesus, was her family. When her husband Roy Philcox retired from the New York City Police Department the couple moved from their home in North Merrick, Long Island to Florida. She was happy that her children and grandchildren lived nearby. During her time in Florida, Michelle attended the Evangelical Bible Seminary where she received her B.S. in Religious Education in March, 2002. Michelle was very involved in supporting various ministries including Right-to-Life and working with First Care in Florida. She was also a strong supporter and advocate for overseas missionary work. She was an avid reader and loved to sing. Her children and grandchildren who survive her are Gary R. Philcox (wife Susan) sons Daniel and Cheyenne, Gene W. Philcox, Michael Philcox (wife Ana Maria) and son and daughter Ryan and Camila, Maria Huertas (daughters Caitlin and Lindsey and son Caleb).
